Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Centro LatinoAmericano! We depend on the commitment and energy of many community volunteers to help us carrying out our programs for immigrant Latino workers and their families.
To become a Centro LatinoAmericano volunteer, download the Volunteer Application Packet (see attachment).
This packet includes an introduction letter, a more comprehensive description of our volunteer opportunities, and a volunteer application. Please read through all the materials and fill out the application. If you would like to arrange a group service project, please to be sure to contact us at least one month in advance.

Centro LatinoAmericano Volunteer Opportunities
English Tutor
Provide one-on-one tutoring to clients who are learning English. Scheduling is based around your availability.
Employment Support
Help our clients search for jobs in our computer lab. Mondays and Wednesdays from 1pm-3pm.
Mentoring
Become a mentor for Latino youth. Must self-identify as Latino and commit to at least one hour per week.
Play Group Assistant
Work with children and mothers during our weekly playgroup that focuses on healthy, educational, and fun interactions and bonding activities. Thursdays 9am-12pm.
Fundraising Support
Support Centro LatinoAmericano through a variety of fundraising efforts, including event planning and donor development.
Outreach
Assist and manage various multimedia tasks to spread the word to the community and perspective donors about Centro LatinoAmericano and our services.
Office Assistance
Aid caseworkers and staff with shredding and filing of documents, making copies, organizing and updating databases, and other various necessary tasks.
Special Events
Assist our staff with special events preparation and on the day of the event.
General On-Call Volunteer
If we do not have any suitable openings, be available and on-call for projects on as-needed basis.
